Some of my most fav music in a long time comes from the awe inspiring Florence + the Machine. Florence + the Machine is the recording name of Florence Welsh and a collababoration of other artists who make up the backing tracks to her voice . Her music creates stories in every song and is adventurous, creative, individual and magical. I wouldn't particularly catagorise it as any genre because it is so unique and each track provides a different message. For those of you who have listened to her music i'm sure you'll understand how amazing it is, but for those of you who havn't you really should take the time to listen to her new album "Lungs". My particular favourite track is "Dog Days are Over" -which is a lively, feel good song that never grows old. Not only are the songs incredible but the album work is always an inspiring peice of photographic art - combining my two loves of art and music. I would definately recommend any of her songs.
